6:00pm Tuesday 4th April, 2023

Description

Festival of Small Halls is coming to Thowgla on Tuesday, 4 April 2023 with the best folk and contemporary music hitting the road. The Festival is a series of tours taking the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. This year featuring Scott Cook and Folk Bitch Trio.

Thowgla Hall is a beautiful historic hall at the hub of the Thowgla Valley. It’s used for many social events and brings ucommunity together. Audiences can expect a beautiful night of original music, as well as a chance to catch up with their families and friends during a supper break, where cake and tea are served. Born of inspiration by the spirit of community, hospitality, exceptional music, and fun that has made small halls festivals in Australia such treasured events. An all ages event and all are welcome.

Hit in the 2019-2020 bushfires, the Thowgla Valley's resilient and hard working locals, the Hall Committee are renovating the hall to make it a functional community hub with the vision to provide a high quality community asset for years to come.

Book your tickets and see you for a 6:30pm, doors open from 6pm.
